Jacob Panic is a Banjo Artist from Reisterstown, MD. Spending years developing the skills to play traditional bluegrass style banjo playing, Jacob introduced the banjo into musical stylings that don’t often feature the instrument. After years of releasing music on his own, Jacob teamed up with Grammy Award Winning Producer, Randy Kohrs, to release his self title EP in 2018. This EP features an all star cast of Nashville musicians including Josh Shilling and Adam Ramsey from the group Mountain Heart, Cody Kilby, Kenny Aronoff and more!

Now, blending Banjo and Metal, Jacob Panic introduces a genre of music yet to be defined. Banjo riffs with the backing of a Death Metal ensemble is not only a refreshing approach to banjo playing, but a welcome addition to the many metal sub genres. Panic pays homage to these different stylings including metalcore, deathcore, death metal, and more, all while utilizing the traditional three finger Scruggs style banjo playing.

Jacob Panic exclusively plays Gold Tone Banjos. He has shared the stage with many national acts including Ricky Skagg’s and Kentucky Thunder (receiving best opening act award), Valerie June, Sierra Hull, American Aquarium, The Kruger Brother’s, and many more.
